30,000 runners compete in Jinan marathon

　　Nearly 30,000 runners participated in the 2024 Jinan (Quancheng) Marathon event on Oct 27 in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province.

　　Among the participants, 19,800 were from provinces outside Shandong, including Hebei, Henan, and Anhui.

　　The competition featured three categories: a full marathon, a half marathon, and a fun run.

　　The starting point for all races was Jinan Daming Lake Scenic Area, while the end point of the full marathon and half marathon was Jinan Olympic Sports Center and that of the fun run was Jinan Quancheng Square.

　　Chen Yujin from Henan province and Li Zhixuan from Inner Mongolia autonomous region claimed the men's and women's marathon titles with times of 2 hours 17 minutes 4 seconds and 2 hours 32 minutes 14 seconds, respectively.
