New public cultural spaces enrich residents lives in Jinan

　　In recent years, Jinan has been dedicated to constructing new public cultural spaces which offer residents comprehensive cultural services and effectively enhance the cultural quality and civility of the city.

　　The 43rd Quancheng Study, one of the new public cultural spaces, has gained in popularity. The most popular section in the study is the thinking zone, also called the "palace of knowledge", which was established to provide a place of solitude and deep contemplation, according to Sun Shujun, a staff member at the study.

　　"This is the 43rd Quancheng Study in Jinan, with a floor area of 368 square meters and a collection of over 17,000 books. The self-reading zone is also quite popular. All 80 seats are filled every day," she added.

　　To meet the requirement of high-quality development on public cultural services, Jinan accelerated constructions on the Quancheng Study and Quancheng Cultural Stations. As of now, 54 Quancheng Studies and 70 Quancheng Cultural Stations have been established in the city.

　　In addition to studies and cultural stations, innovative new public cultural spaces like Lishan Meiyu Valley, which is a sports-themed art industry complex, are emerging. They feature fresh construction concepts, extensive social participation, and efficient service innovation, constantly enhancing the cultural satisfaction and happiness of the public.

　　The new public cultural spaces, distinct from traditional venues, effectively complement and expand the existing cultural service system. They meet diverse cultural needs, enhance citizens' cultural quality, and elevate Jinan's cultural standards.
