Liu Jianjun Leads Delegation to 7th China International Import Expo and Promotes Investment

　　From November 5 to 6, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Liu Jianjun led an economic and trade delegation to Shanghai to participate in the 7th China International Import Expo, visit relevant exhibition areas, attend the "Shandong In Dialogue with Multinationals on Supply Chain Cooperation" organized by the provincial government, and conduct investment promotion activities. Vice Mayor Di Bo participated in these activities.

　　At the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), Liu Jianjun visited the exhibition areas of key enterprises with investments in Weifang, including Caterpillar, as well as the Weichai Overseas Brand Joint Exhibition Hall. He engaged in in-depth discussions with company leaders to understand product features, business layout, technological innovation, and the current status of investments in Weifang. Liu emphasized that Weifang is now focused on accelerating high-quality development. He urged departments at all levels to embrace a win-win cooperation philosophy, seize the opportunities presented by the Expo, strengthen collaboration with well-known enterprises, and attract more high-quality businesses to invest and establish operations in Weifang. It is hoped that all participating entrepreneurs will use this Expo as an opportunity to accelerate project implementation, increase investment efforts, and achieve mutually beneficial development.

　　At the "Shandong In Dialogue with Multinationals on Supply Chain Cooperation" organized by the provincial government, Liu Jianjun attended the signing ceremony for key projects. Hongrun-Trafigura Energy Weifang Bulk Energy Commodities Import Project in the High-tech Industrial Development Zone and the Wood Chip Import Procurement Project in the Comprehensive Bonded Zone were among them.

　　At the Weifang Yangtze River Delta Investment Promotion and Key Cooperation Project Signing Ceremony, Liu Jianjun, on behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and municipal government, welcomed the guests and expressed appreciation to all sectors of society for their long-standing concern and support for the development of Weifang. He emphasized that Weifang values industry and commerce, is open and inclusive, boasts a complete industrial system, and is a fertile ground for investment and entrepreneurship. The Yangtze River Delta is one of the most dynamic and innovative regions in China, aligning closely with the development of Weifang's industrial, supply, and innovation chains. 　　The event was attended by over 100 business and institution leaders from the Yangtze River Delta. During the meeting, a promotional video of Weifang was shown, highlighting the city's open development, cooperation opportunities, key industries, and foreign cooperation projects. Key guests delivered speeches, and 30 major cooperation projects were signed on-site.

　　During this Expo, the city plans to sign 55 projects, including 41 investment projects with a total investment of 24.04 billion yuan and 14 trade cooperation projects with a total trade volume of 6.24 billion US dollars.
