In the golden autumn of September, a group of 11 people led by Lucas Schmidt from Germany visited the Red Leaf Shiyan Tourist Area in Zibo, Shandong Province, embarking on a distinctive cultural experience journey.
The German friends followed the carefully designed tour route of the scenic area and successively visited the ruins of the Qi Great Wall, the suspended glass walkway, and the well-preserved ancient village buildings. Before the ruins of the Qi Great Wall, which have endured over 2,500 years of wind and rain, these young people from Europe paused for a long time, carefully observing the ancient wall structure and showing great interest in this great project that witnessed the ancient Chinese military defense system.
On the suspended glass walkway, they looked down at the early autumn colors in the canyon and used their cameras to record the unique natural landscape and cultural relics perfectly integrated. In the ancient village area, the traditional stone-built houses and the simple street layout made the guests feel the strong local characteristics. They carefully observed every architectural detail and experienced the oriental wisdom contained therein.
After the tour, they took a group photo in front of the iconic red gate of the scenic area. Their smiles complemented the landscape that carries a thousand years of history, freezing into a beautiful moment of cultural exchange between China and Germany.
